About Us

Strength & Serenity Counseling was founded by Simara Blair in 2017 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Our name was inspired by the rooms of recovery. At the end of every meeting when the serenity prayer is recited there is a shared experience that holds such power and sentiment. There is a sense of cohesion in acknowledging strength in weakness, a consensus of understanding and hope, a sense of peace in acknowledging that we are not alone (even in the pits our of darkest days) and lastly an acceptance in our present day existence. Strength & Serenity Counseling has compassion and connectedness embedded in all aspects of care for our clients.
